I think this product is made from good quality materials. But this hose was supposed to not only install though the window but also through a wall, But once you cut a hole in your wall how do you keep the ran, insects an animals, an so forth out of the pipe, the end of the pipe should in my opinion be designed to have a backflow preventer on the end of the pipe to keep anything from entering. Also if you disconect the machine from the hose you now have a hole in the wall.
