1. Original worked fine but replacement was short-lived

My first BrilliantStore adapter worked perfectly fine for a full year, but then with three days left in the warranty, the rubber casing separated from the battery and the exposed wires sparked, rendering the adapter useless.
BrilliantStore made it very easy to get a replacement. However, that replacement only lasted a month! It literally stopped working. I was disappointed b/c apparently the replacement falls under the warranty of the original, so I had to buy a brand new one. I strongly believe new equipment equals new warranty, otherwise I could be purposely mailed a dud.
However, despite this downside, the new one works perfectly fine and is much cheaper than the Apple version, which doesn't seem any less vulnerable.

Works fine, and more sturdily built than the original; only minor complaint is that it lacks the LED light at the base that indicates if it's charging, etc.
