Night Vision Binoculars: The General Telescope

Friday, June 10th, 2011

Are you a camping or military fan? Having you ever think of buying professional camping and hiking needs, for example the binocular?

In recent years, the military binocular has become the hottest seller between those outdoor sports and camping fans. The high precision and long distance capability are disadvantages than those ordinary binoculars. However, with the appearance of the night vision binocular, a new fervor of purchasing has been blown up. Don’t you think it’s cool and practical?

Night vision binocular is also called as UV night vision instrument. At night, the visible lights are filmy, while the invisible ultraviolet rays are abundant, which could help in observing, searching and driving for humans with UV instrument. Though people discovered the ultraviolet long ago, the UV remote sensing technique was developing slowly due to the restriction of IR components. It is not until 1940 after the innovation of lead sulfide and several UV transmission materials that the UV remote sensing instrument was born.

The night vision binocular was first utilized in military activities by the using of photoelectric conversion technology. So far, the night vision binocular can be classified as active mode night vision binocular and passive mode night vision binocular, for the former one illuminates the target by UV searchlight, while the latter one forms a ‘thermal image’ of the target according to the UV radiation of the target itself, which is also called as ‘thermal image instrument.

Something interesting:

It is reported that the night vision binocular can help in seeing through human’s body with an attachment lens, and these attachment lens are produced by YAMADA DENSHI, the company who is producing light-transmission cameras for military and defense.

 1.     Occasion

Are you always spending your hours in a suit and tie or you are a jeans and T-shirt guy? Watch is once again in fashion and styles such as the Blancpain Villeret, which you can view at Chronolux.com, a Maurice Lacroix Masterpiece or some from the Jaeger-Le Coultre Master collection all have pure clean classically styled dials and are perfect for business meetings right through to formal dress wear. For a sporty more casual watch try a Chronograph from the TAG Heuer Carrera or Oris TT3 range or the iconic Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph. These bold and chunky styles are intelligently designed, innovative and incredibly stylish.

 2.     Usage

Mostly tell the time, but for those gadget lovers or sports fans, an incredible range of functions can be packed into the tiny marvel — the modern mechanical watch. Timing functions such as the Chronograph are common functions available in a mechanical watch, but you can also choose to have a piece with second time zone displays (GMT), a watch which sounds the hours, quarter hours and minutes (Minute Repeater) or even a watch which displays the time linearly in the form of a Retrograde dial.

 3.     Price

For luxury Swiss watches, the range is quite limited but you do get uncompromising quality and standards for your money. Fortunately some brands like Corum and Ebel produce an excellent portfolio of distinctive finely crafted watches to suit more moderate budgets. You can save a lot by buying online but make sure that you buy from a reputable site and try to speak to a person not just an answering machine about your requirements.  Women’s Watches

1. Type

Choose Quartz or mechanical? A quartz movement will cost less, need less maintenance and is reliable and practical. A mechanical movement is a mini piece of engineering and more women are becoming aware of the craftsmanship involved. It’ll cost more, but look after it and it can become an heirloom. Girard Perregaux produces a fine range of ladies mechanical watches.

 2. Style

The shape of the watch is very important. The classic round shape is always in fashion, a square shape has a more masculine style, and a rectangle case can have retro chic or go for a curvy in-between style such as the Maurice Lacroix Divina available at Chronolux.com for ultra femininity.

 3. Material.

Gold, the traditional classic is still on-trend with the more subtle Rose Gold making a come back. Stainless steel initially used in more masculine styles is tough, cost effective and has a nice weighty feel. Ceramic widely used by the Rado watch brand makes for a contemporary design. This material will not scratch, can be colored and with its highly polished appearance makes for a spectacular ladies watch.

 4. Bracelet or Strap.

Bracelet watch can make for a more formal piece of jewellery such as those offered by Cartier. Leather straps can be incredibly fashionable with elaborate colors to match dials and exotic leathers such as stingray making the watch even more unique. Rubber straps are not just for the boys. This durable material will not be damaged by perfumes or other products as it can be easily cleaned.
