1. Very hardy dehumidifier

This dehumidifier works very well, much better than my previous Maytag which lasted almost 4 years. It much quieter also. The wheels are lame but it is light so it doesn't take much to carry it.

Have owned my units for at least 5 years. They do an excellent job. I keep one on each level of the house. You need to clean the back permanent plastic filter every once in awhile. Also have one at another property and have it hooked up with a hose to drain outside. That is easy to do as well.

I do not know if the CFM-40E works. It has been plugged in and running since I bought it but has not collected any water. I do not know if the air is too dry or if it is not working.
