Tips: Calibration of new batteries
To maximize the life-span of your laptop batteries, within the first week, you need to do as follows:
1. Plug the laptop adapter and get your iBook charged, till the indicator light of the adapter turns green and the battery icon indicate that the battery is fully charged.
2. Disconnect the adapter and start up you iBook. The first time the electricity is scare, you will see the warning dialog box on the screen. Go to use your iBook till it goes asleep, which means the battery is totally running out and you can start calibrating.
3. Connect the adapter till the battery is fully charged again.
[Caution] What you have to is to release the electricity fully and then fully charge it one, namely the calibration of batteries.
