The 3-LED light is actually pretty good and bright... not sure what I'd use the blacklight for, but it's there anyway. While it would be nice to have a laser pointer too, that's not in the description of the product anyway (...because they changed the description after they sold a bunch of them for $1 with free shipping, so I can't complain too much at what I got)
The button to activate it stays on when you push it, and then you can push it again later to turn it off just like a flashlight. It alternates LED and blacklight in cycles as you push it on and off.
