I'm a teacher and I use thing all the time in my classes. The laser doesn't go too far but it works great, otherwise. You just have to make sure that the USB receiver is facing the laser at all times or else you might loose laser connection. It's powerful enough and a very good sub from those more expensive laser pointers that can blind a blind man.
