Description
- Apparatus:A case with lid and six ordinary dice
- Basic Action:
- Place 6 dices in the case, no.1 face up and no.2 on the side towards you. Put the lid on and hold it with your four fingers on top and thumb underneath so that the case is slanting forward a little.
- Simple shake the case up without changing the angle of your wrist. Make sure that the case stays level. The dice have turned round one quarter by stumbling against the protrusion in the lid. Lift up the lid and see the numbers on the dice have all turned into no.2.
- Giving one more shale all the numbers on the dice will change into no.6. Practice the above shaking movements, you are ready to start the performance.
- Performance 1:
- Scatter the 6 dice on the table and place them into he case at random. At the same time, you remember that no. of the dice on the side towards you.
- Cover the lid and shake the case one time.
- Then you tell the audience, those dice are changed to different order by your command e.g. 5, 3, 6, 2, 6, 6 as in fig.
- Then lift up the lid to show the dice are really changed into the order by your command.
- Performance:
- Ask a spectator to scatter the dice on the table and select one dice with his favorite number face up (e.g. no:4)
- Arrange the remaining dice one by one into the case. Be sure that you keep the chose number 4 on the side towards you.
- Close the lid and give one shake up.
- Open the case and see that all dice have changed to the chosen no.4.
