1. Hate It!!

We bought this to cool one room b/c our AC in our home went out until it could be repaired. For the amount that this cost, this portable AC is horrible on cooling! We just bought this two days ago and regretted it just hours after we bought it! We first put the portable AC in our 400 sq foot room which put the appliance at its max. We gave ourselves the benefit of the doubt and thought the room was way too big for the AC to handle so we moved it into our daughter's 250 sq foot room w/ ONE window! We realized what a waste of money this product was. It could not even keep that room cool! The only place in that room that was the least bit refreshing was no more than 1' in front of the darn thing! I seriously think if I would have bought a $20 box fan, the room temperature would have been nearly equal to what this thing put out. I had to double, triple, and quadruple check the setting to make sure we had everything correct!! A $5,000 btu AC could keep the 250 sq foot room cooler! I'm returning this product. No doubt about that. Never again will I buy a portable AC. I got it for the convenience factor but realized how much better a window AC unit is. FYI, I had the temperature set to the lowest possible setting 61 degrees.
